NICU, PICU

The NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) and PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit) are critical components of super multi-speciality Greenland Hospital, dedicated to delivering life –saving care to the most vulnerable group of patients – newborns and children. These specialized units are essential for stabilizing critically ill infants and pediatric patients, mitigating the risk of complications, and fostering optimal recovery and long-term health outcomes.

The NICU caters specifically to the newborns, including preterm infants, those with congenital anomalies, and babies facing severe medical conditions, such as respiratory distress and system infections. Equipped with ultra-modern technologies, NICU offer continuous monitoring, specialized respiratory support and mechanical ventilation to sustain the lives of the infants.

PICU provides intensive care for seriously ill or injured children from infancy to adolescence. Staffed by a multidisciplinary team -including pediatric intensivists, nursing staff, respiratory therapists, and other specialists – the PICU houses sophisticated medical equipments and evidence-based protocols to deliver complete care.
